General Duties

Communication of all resolutions , rules and regulations issued by the president of the university to the relevant units, and monitoring the appropriate implementation thereof,

Formulation of regulations and instructions and guidelines related to the duties of the vice president for proposal to the competent authorities for approval,

Proposing qualified people to hold managerial positions in the field of vice presidency of university,

Monitoring the affiliated sections in order to ensure appropriate execution of their duties,

Planning, organizing activities and proposing the annual budget of the relevant vice presidency in accordance with university priorities,

Collaboration with other vice presidents for the appropriate conduct of university programs, and

Specific Duties

Description of specific tasks and duties

Managing and supervising the proper implementation of all administrative, financial, and developmental affairs of the university, in accordance with the laws, regulations and related regulations,

Following the goals of the university and the guidance and supervision of how the workflows and working methods used in different units to coordinate activities between different units in pursuit of the goals of the university,

Monitoring the allocation of credits to different units, based on the detailed budget approved by the Board of Trustees and other applicable laws and regulations of the university, and submitting a report to the relevant trustee

Determining the status of the university by identifying the strengths, bottlenecks, and problems and opportunities, the threats ahead in determining the proposed strategies for improving the desired situation

Providing the necessary justification reports to the university president regarding the duties assigned to the supervised units,

Collecting and completing the required information based on the comprehensive plan of the university, planning and proposing annual budget and performing all necessary activities for implementation of the university's development plans (such as contracts, trust, etc.)

Performing major repairs to restore and maintain existing buildings and facilities;

Formation of a committee for the development of implementing procedures to optimize the system of administrative interactions between subordinate units with the co-operation of other university vice presidencies,

Establishing an income recognition process and appropriate control over the financial cycle to prepare financial management reports for establishing financial discipline in different departments of the university, and

 

Developing appropriate methods for maintaining the building and equipment of the university in order to maintain and preserve the national capital of the university.
